We are willing to accept all applicants 16 Years and over whom are located in a timezone that can participate with our group (Australian Timezones are +10 - +13UTC).

Do I have my own copy of P3D? Can my computer system run it adequately?
The following equipment is absolutely essential for online flight operations:
Headset/Microphone; Flight Control Systems (Joystick etc);, stable and fast Internet Connection (ADSL or faster)
Be prepared to install third party software that runs alongside Flight Simulator, RAAFVirtual uses a custom windows application for the filing of our Pirep and other systems called S.C.I (Simulation Control Interface) ATOMS 2.0. You may also be required to purchase payware aircraft for some airframe types. Please note that RAAFvirtual is NOT responsible for any harm that third party software may cause to computers and that technical support for third party products should be sought directly from the authors. RAAFvirtual does not provide extensive technical support for third party software packages whatsoever other than SCI/ATOMS.
SCI/ATOMS (Supplied by us), FSInn or Vpilot and Teamspeak Client is compulsory third party software and must be installed and working correctly. Squawkbox can also be used if required.
ALL members must be registered to fly or control aircraft on the VATSIM network. If you do not have a VATSIM membership, please sign up at VATSIM prior to registering with RAAFvirtual.org. Pilots who have joined without submitting a VATSIM number will not be accepted and their application will be refused. Please note that all new applicants will have their VATSIM statistics checked. This is done to ascertain your current level of activity on the VATSIM network. We will NOT accept your application if your activity level is low.
Be prepared to put in some time to this organisation. It will take some time to understand the role of your aircraft, it's capabilities and flight regimes that are a part of the RAAFvirtual's everyday life.
Are you a member of another military or civilian Virtual Airline? While we allow members to belong to other Virtual Airlines, however, if you have signed up with RAAFvirtual you must be prepared to fly the minimum monthly requirements for flight operations.
Members are not permitted to share RAAFvirtual.org documents and files with the general public, or other virtual airline/military groups. Members found to be sharing documents or files without authorisation will be removed from the membership.

When registering your details for the RAAFvirtual Forum, please use your first and last name. No callsigns or nicknames will be accepted. If you are located in a different area of the world then the Australian Region we ask that you look into one of our affiliated VSOA’s for the area you are located, this is due to the large difference in time zones that Australia has compared to the rest of the world. If you still wish to join RAAFvirtual.org we ask that you specify the reasons for this and how you plan to match the time zones and requirements for the VSOA.
